JUDE JOHNSTONE is an absolute legend of songwriters. Her songs have been covered by Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Bette Midler, Johnny Cash, Stevie Nicks, Mary Black, and others. Born in Bar Harbor, Maine, Jude Johnstone began writing songs at about age 8. At 18, she was “discovered” by E-Street Band saxophonist, Clarence Clemons. She also penned the title track to Johnny Cash’s 1997 Grammy winning album “Unchained.”
JORDIE LANE is an Australian Roots artist who’s toured with legends like Billy Bragg, Old Crow Medicine Show, the Moody Blues and many more. Named in Melbourne Magazine’s 100 most influential people, his songs are laced with Irreverent wit and satirical commentary. On his latest album, Tropical Depression, he tackles (among other things) Lane’s own growing obsession with extreme weather (he had a close call with an EF-3 Tornado) and its eventual collision with his own mental health battles.
