She Is Suffering by Manic Street Preachers

                            She Is Suffering

Tuning: Standard

Intro/Verses: (In the video I used to write this, he hits the A and Am at the end
as full chords sometimes)
   Em Em/D# A Am
e|------------------------------------------------------|
b|-------8------------8------------2------------1-------|
g|-----9---9--------9---9--------2---2--------2---2-----|
d|---9-------9----9-------9----2-------2----2-------2---|
a|-7-----------6------------0------------0------------0-|
e|------------------------------------------------------|

Verse 1:
Em Em/D#
Beauty finds refuge
A Am
in herself
Em Em/D#
Lovers wrapped inside
A Am
each others lies
Em Em/D#
Beauty is such a
A Am
terrible thing
Em Em/D#
She is suffering
A Am
Yet more than death

Chorus: (Played as barre chords)
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
She sucks you deeper in
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
You exist within her shadow

Verse 2:
Em Em/D#
Beauty, she is scarred
A Am
into man's soul
Em Em/D#
A flower attracting
A Am
lust, vice and sin
Em Em/D#
A vine that can strangle
A Am
life from a tree
Em Em/D#
Carrion, surrounding,
A Am
picking on leaves

Chorus: (Played as barre chords)
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
She sucks you deeper in
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
You exist within her shadow

Bridge: (Power chords) x4
D# C D A

Verse 3:
Em Em/D#
Beauty she poisons
A Am
unfaithful all
Em Em/D#
Stifled, her touch is
A Am
leprous and pale
Em Em/D#
The less she gives the more
A Am
you need her
Em Em/D#
No thoughts to forget when we were
A Am
children

Chorus: (Played as barre chords)
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
She sucks you deeper in
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
Nature's luke-warm pleasure

That's it. Took much longer to write out than expected.
In the third verse, he just strums the chords, rather than picking them. I think
he plays the A and Am like this:
   A Am
e|-5-| e|-5-|
b|-5-| b|-5-|
g|-6-| g|-5-|
d|-7-| d|-7-|
a|---| a|---|
e|---| e|---|

version 2

INTRO/VERSE a fairly simple pattern of going up and down the chords. The A/Am
bit can be done in open position (X02220/X02210) if you feel more comfortable
with that.
It is lightly palm muted, but you don't really have to do that.

     Em Em/Eb A Am
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------8-----------------8----------------------------------------------|
G|-------9-----9-----------9-----9---------------6-----------------5----------|
D|-----9---9-----9-------9---9-----9---------7-----7-----------7-----7--------|
A|---7-------------7---6-------------6-----7---7-----7-------7---7-----7------|
E|---------------------------------------5-------------5---5-------------5----|

G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
She sucks you deeper in
G B Em
She is suffering
G B A5
You exist within her shadow

Those make up pretty much the whole song.

SOLO, this bit's pretty odd to be honest, and this is just an interpretation
that sounds similar to me. I'm not really one to play the exact solo, but this
is pretty much what I do. The bends are up about half a semitone, not enough
to go to the next fret. What I do is the first bit as it's written here,
then mainly impro the next bit on those notes and a few others from
the Em pentatonic. End on that high E though.

Let the last note of the solo ring, as it then goes into the verse, where this
or something like it is played over the other guitar.
