Flying Dream by Gary Garrett Flying Dream Notes: (1) For the D# passing chord, just slide the D shape up a fret and then go to Em. (2) C-C#-D-D#: The C# and D# are passing chords, just slide the C up one fret, go to a regular D, slide it up a fret, then go to Em. (3) F - F# - G- G#- A is just sliding the whole F chord shape up the neck one fret at a time. I’m a thumb-wrapper: I fret the low E string with my thumb to get the bass note. (4) For the Eb, just slide the C chord up three frets and don’t play any open E strings. The open G string is cool -- it fits in the Eb chord. (5) The Eb7 is just C7, up three frets. Slide it down a fret and let it ring for the D7. Verse 1: G B7 Milk and honey on the stove Em C A big band on the radio G D D# Em C (1) Open up the curtains to the sky.
