~For the rest of the song, the drop D gets in the way. So
you have to alter the chords =/ but it still sounds cool.

~Also, try to pick in the pattern of the piano, I was too lazy
to put all of it down, so I just gave the chords to hold while
 you experiment with the picking.

VERSE 1:
   D A D G
I don't get many things right the first time

      D Bm C A A/C#
in fact I am told that a lot. Now I know all the wrong turns

       D G D Bm F#m A
the stumbles and falls brought me here

CHORUS:
Bm G Bm E A
And where was I before the day that I first saw your lovely face?

        F#m G
now I see it every day

    D A D A Bm F#m G D A D A
And I know, that I am, I am, I am, the luckiest

VERSE 2:
         D A D G
What if I'd been born 50 years before you

     D Bm C A A/C#
in a house on the street where you live? Maybe I'd be outside

        D G D Bm F#m A
as you pass on your bike would I know?

CHORUS:
Bm G Bm E A F#m G
And in a wide sea of eyes, I'd see one pair that I'd recognize

    D A D A Bm F#m G D A D A
And I know, that I am, I am, I am, the luckiest

BRIDGE:
Em Bm A/C# D G D A
I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you.

VERSE 3:
      D A D G
Next door there's an old man who lived to his 90's

        D Bm C A
and one day passed away in his sleep. And his wife

    A/C# D G D Bm F#m A
she stayed for a couple of days and passed away.

CHORUS:
Bm G Bm E A F#m G
I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong.

   D A D A Bm F#m G D A
That I know, that I am, I am, I am...
