Borrowed Time by A Fine Frenzy Borrowed Time So I've seen lots of chords and tabs of Borrowed Time, but they're not right. The chords technically correct, but not the capo. Like, Capo 1 Am and Capo 6 Em are the same But Capo 6 Em had the E string on the 6th fret, which is in the song. So Capo 1 Am is the right chord, so to say. The ending tab part may not be 100% correct, but it's pretty close. Standard Tuning Capo 6 Em Thick as thieves the last of leaves C In the winter sun Em Holding fast this freezing branch C Is home to us G C Step, step right over the line Am And onto borrowed time G C When it's life, not waiting to die Am Waiting to divide to divide Em Counting stars and passing cars C On the interstate Em The end is near I feel it dear, C But I am not afraid G C Step, step right over the line Am And onto borrowed time G C When it's life, not waiting to die Am Waiting to divide to divide Em C But you say you're getting tired Em You're tired and so am I C When you follow from behind G C G C G C Step, step right over the line Am And onto borrowed time G C When it's life, not waiting to die Am Waiting to divide to divide Em C But you say you're getting tired Em You're tired and so am I C When you follow from behind Outro: e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| G|----------------0----------------------------------------------------------| D|------2-------------2------2-----------------------------------------------|x5 A|----------0h2-----------------0h2h0----------------------------------------| E|--0---------------------0--------------------------------------------------| -------------------- version 2 Capo on 1st Fret Intro Chords: Am - F (x2) Am Thick as thieves the last of leaves F In the winter sun Am Holding fast this freezing branch F Is home to us C F Step, step right over the line E C and onto borrowed time F When it's life, not waiting to die E Waiting to divide to divide Interlude: Am - F Am Counting stars and passing cars F On the interstate Am The end is near I feel it dear, F But I am not afraid C F Step, step right over the line E C And onto borrowed time F When it's life, not waiting to die E Waiting to divide to divide Am F But you say you're getting tired You're tired and so am I Am F When you follow from behind Interlude: C - F (x2) C F Step, step right over the line E C And onto borrowed time F When it's life, not waiting to die E Waiting to divide to divide Interlude: C Am F But you say you're getting tired You're tired and so am I Am F When you follow from behind...
