version 3

Tuning:E A D G B E
Capo:no capo

I have tried to indicate where he uses different voicings so take a look at the chord descriptions below.
He uses his pinky on the 4th fret for the Aadd9 chords, which allows him to slide that note up from the C#m
and makes it easier for him to reach over and quickly play the single note G# on the 4th fret of the
low E string with his ring finger where I have indicated (G#).

Thanks to a comment below, for the first E* chord, he plays 0999xx and hammers on to fret 11 of the A string.
For the E** chords in the second instrumental section. The low E is coming from the bass and he appears be
playing a similar shape to his G#m, but using his thumb to mute and only playing the top 4 strings.

The verse strumming pattern listed is the basic strumming for the whole song (though he sometimes lightly
strums more of the sixteenth notes while emphasizing this pattern). The first 2 lines of the chorus each have
a 3/4 measure followed by a 4/4 measure.
