Piedmont/ragtime style blues song and this is the tab for the fingerstyle guitar part (I did not include the
rhythm guitar that comes in partway through the song). There is a capo on the third fret. To play this song,
you need to know how to play an alternating bass line with your thumb. Use your thumb (and a light palm mute)
to play the bass notes on the 6th,5th,and 4th strings and use your index and/or middle fingers to play the
melody notes on the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st string. If this is your
first time trying this style of fingerpicking, I recommend you search YouTube for lessons on
"Travis style picking" before tackling this tab.
Side note: The way this album is mastered, it's a little difficult to hear the 6th string during the intro and
first verse, but if you listen close, it's definitely there. You can hear it better in the later verses.
