Compared to the original version from "Heavy Horses" (1978), it's half a step lower (probably for vocal reasons). Although the song is allegedly played in Open E tuning (song announcement on "Bursting Out", 1978) I chose the DADGAD tuning since I think it's easier to play. Use a pick and listen to the song to get the strumming pattern. The single notes in the tab merge with the surrounding chords most of the time, just practice to figure it out. 1. Spoken introduction (Excerpt from "To a mouse" by Robert Burns (1759-1796)) "Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim'rous beastie, O, what a panic's in thy breastie! Thou need na start awa sae hasty Wi bickering brattle!" ... but a mouse is a mouse, for all that. 2.
