Intro: with a Q-filter type effect, or a wah placed in the sweet spot (similar effect
can be obtained with the bridge pick-up of a humbukered guitar, with tone rolled off
to 0, might be too muddy though, unless you have a bright overdrive sound), also use
heavy compression, although this is only if you want a sound similar to the rocording.

This is an alternative Verse i saw the Darkness play in a soundcheck on the South Bank
Show when they did a profile on the Darkness' first album Permission to Land. It's not
difficult or very different, but it could add a bit of variation if you played this for
the second verse or something, i dunno, tis cool anyway. You need to keep the muted rhyt
going, as in the first verse, as well as playing the chords with a sortof staccato
effect, not really difficult, just hard to describe well, hope it works out alright
for you. (would also work if one guitar played the first verse, while the second guitar
plays the chords here, without the muting rhythm here)
