version 2

Tuning: E A D G B E
Capo: 3rd fret

This song is played in G, but I prefer to play it in E on guitar. (Of course, you can just capo on the 3rd
fret and bring it back to its original key). Three reasons why I prefer to do it this way: 1) It's easier to
sing in my (male) range; 2) It allows you to more easily hit the pedal tone in intro (low G when played in
original key); and 3) I find the chord progressions easier (including the little walks within the verse and
between verse and pre-chorus)

Chords:
A/E...... 002220
E........ 022100
F#m7..... 242222
B........ x24442
Cdim7.... x3424x
C#m7..... x4645x
Esus4.... 022200

*Walk#1*
In the verse, when moving from the F#m7 to the B, play a G# on the low E string then a A on the A string.
Or you can think about it two in-between steps:
Step 1... 4xxxxx
Step 2... x0xxxx

*Walk#2*
The verses end on an E, and the pre-chorus starts on an A. Walk up to the A by playing an F# then a G# (both
on the low E string). Or shows as steps:
Step 1... 2xxxxx
Step 2... 4xxxxx
