Chords (1.12)

This explanation might make the pattern sound more complex than it is. You have two
options - try and make sense of the notation, or just learn the syncopation yourself. I
would favour the second option, because to play anything fluently you need to feel it and
not just read it anyway.

Essentially it is just a bunch of dotted note strums. Each strum is given a leading palm
mute, and every set of 6 is separated by a double palm mute.
But the pattern starts on strum 5 in a set of 6, and when it matches up with 8 bars of
4/4, it resets.
I've notated it below, I hope it makes sense.

Atmospheric extended middle section

The strumming pattern here is an evolution of the one before. It's identical,
except it doesn't have the leading palm mute, and it doesn't reset after 8 bars of 4/4.

The chord positions are as follows and they change after every two bars of 4/4.

G-|--- --- --- --- --- --- ---|
Eb|--- --- --- -3- -0- --- ---|
Bb|-3- -0- -0- -0- -0- -7- -8-|
