Your Heroes Are Dead by Project 86

                             Your Heroes Are Dead

1. Verse chord progression. Listen to CD for the rhythm, which is used in both the verse and chorus.

A--0--3--0--8--5------------------------------------------------|

2. Pre-chorus riff. A phaser effect comes in on the 5x7 octave. Listen to the CD for
on the octaves. 5x7 is hit about

8 times downpicked, and the rest are hit like 4 times, both up and down picked.

3. Chorus Rhythm track. The rhythm is just about the same as the verse, except the 7, or
powerchord is hit up and down

rapidly. There are 2 tracks for the chorus. One is the powerchord progression, the other
an octave thing. I can only hear

the Powerchord, which is what is below. An "A" octave begins playing rapidly on the
track when the 3, or F, powerchord

starts playing.

There's something coming
And its coming for you
The mob is restless
Looking for something new
You lead us here
With an eternal promise
The gallows calling
For you to pay for this

Now that we're left here on our own
There's nowhere left to turn
Who will see me through?

Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again
Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again

What fitting ends
To our fearless fathers
The cost of treason
Isn't paid in dollars
With nothing left
There is nothing to lose
We'll watch the city gates
Falling all around

Now that we're left here on our own
There's nowhere left to turn
Who will see us through?

Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again
Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again

You said I'd never make it
That I could only fail
But I'm the one who's standing
And what has happened to you?

Now that we're left here on our own
There's nowhere left to turn
Who will see us through?

Now that we've said goodbye to you
We've started something new

Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again
Your heroes are gone
They left with the dawn
Now its just us we'll carry on

Your heroes are dead
They're all in your head
When nothing is left we'll start again
Your heroes are gone
They left with the dawn
Now its just us we'll carry on
