Grazed Knees by Snow Patrol

                            Grazed Knees

Verse and bridge:

Heck of a stretch this if your a beginner or have got small hands,
you could always put a capo on fret 1 and instead of playing the A=0, play E=5.

version 2

Use your 4th finger to play the 3 on the D string, and your 2nd for the 1 on the B
Then you just have to put your first finger down on the 5th string to play the next note.
there it's just normal power chords. Great song.

I think there's also a part where he plays:

version 3

Tuning: Standard or Drop D Tuning

Both tabs for this song that are here on UG (version 1 and 2) are great, but nobody has tabbed the
second guitar doing the little riff in the chorus. Also, I'll tab it both in standard and Drop D
tuning, because it is a lot easier to play if you tune your guitar to Drop D tuning.

Verse (Standard)

e|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
B|-----1-----1-----|-----1-----1-----|-----------------|-----------------|
G|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
D|---3-----3-----3-|---3-----3-----0-|-----3-----3-----|-----3-----3-----|
A|-0-----0-----0---|-1-----1-----1---|---3-----3-----3-|---3-----3-----0-|
E|-----------------|-----------------|-1-----1-----1---|-1-----1-----1---|

Verse (Drop D)

e|-------------------|-------------------|-----------------|-----------------|
B|-------------------|-------------------|-----------------|-----------------|
G|-------------------|-------------------|-----------------|-----------------|
D|-----10-----10-----|-----10-----10---0-|-----3-----3-----|-----3-----3-----|
A|---8------8------8-|---8------8--------|---3-----3-----3-|---3-----3-----0-|
E|-7------7------7---|-8------8------8---|-3-----3-----3---|-3-----3-----3---|

Chorus (Standard)

e|-----------------|------------------|-----------------------|
B|-----------------|------------------|-----------------------|
G|-----5-----5-----|-/----3-----3-----|-----5-----5-------/3~-|
D|---5-----5-----5-|-/--3-----3-----0-|---5-----5-----5---/3~-|
A|-3-----3-----3---|-/1-----1-----1---|-3-----3-----3-----/1~-|
E|-----------------|------------------|-----------------------|

This can be played in both tunings perfectly.

Chorus (Drop D)

e|-------------------------|------------------|-------------------------------|
B|-------------------------|------------------|-------------------------------|
G|-------------------------|------------------|-------------------------------|
D|-------10-------10-------|-/----8-----8---0-|-------10-------10---------/8~-|
A|----10-------10-------10-|-/--8-----8-------|----10-------10-------10---/8~-|
E|-10-------10-------10----|-/8-----8-----8---|-10-------10-------10------/8~-|

This doesn't sound as good as the Chorus above, but I'll add it just for the record.

Chorus Riff (Any tuning)

e|----------------------|
B|----------------------|
G|-3/5-5----------------|
D|--------3--5/7--------|
A|---------------3/5-5~-|
E|----------------------|

You can hear this riff in your left speaker. I think I may have missed a note or two, but it sounds right
