Paraguay And Panama by Slow Club

                             Paraguay And Panama

Capo 3rd fret, all chord shapes relative to capo. Standard root chords.

F#/G just keep the G shape on the higher strings with an F# in the bass (either with a finger or your thumb):
F#/G: 2 X 0 0 3 3

The picking is up to you, and I find it more fun to play it quite loose (aka I'm not going to bother writing it
out). The only exeption is where I've written Cmaj7: this is just C but hit the B string and pull off your
finger to leave an open string. This is the little twiddly bit you can hear Charles play. In the bits between
verses, try putting that 1 on the B string and pulling it off, both on the C and G. Fun to play around with.

Intro:

G C G C G

G D C G F#/G
Ever had your numbers called
Em Am
Ever ran away.
G D C G F#/G
Ever loved and lost it all
Em Am
Don't you wanna say
C Bm C Bm
And if you had, and if you had
(Bm) Em C
The chance to run it all like you know it's meant
(C) D C Cmaj7
Would you roll a dice or sprint until the end

(Between verses)

G, C, G

G D C G F#/G
Pickled and soured, bruised and dry
Em Am
That's the local way
G D C G F#/G
Strange old flag, flying high
Em Am
Don't know what to say
C Bm C Bm
Just tip your head, just tip your head
(Bm) Em C
And let us know your heart, beats like the rest
D C Cmaj7
And we will roll around, and do our best

(Between verses)

G, C, G

G D C G F#/G
Painted girl, upon the wall
Em Am
Covered carefully
G D C G F#/G
In Paraguay and Panama, you were
Em Am
The hourglass beauty queen
C Bm C Bm
Just flick your hair, just flick your hair
(Bm) Em C
And move your lips around, in the shape of words
(Am) D C Cmaj7
That you knew before all of this

G, C, G.
