Guitar 1 plays Figure 1 three times, while Guitar two plays this: |----------------------------------------------------------| |------3-3--3----------3--3---------3---------3~~~~--------| |--2h4--------4p2~2h4--2--2-4---2h4---2h4p2---------4/-----| |-------------------------------------------0--------------| |----------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------| Guitar two then plays this while fading out, Guitar one plays Figure 1 |-----------------------------------13b 13b 13 10~~--------| |--8-6/7--------------------------------------------12-----| |--------7-----------7~~---8-6/7---------------------------| |----------9-7~~~7h9-------------7-------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------| Then both guitars play Figure 1 for the rest of the song, which isn't much. -------------- version 2 The tuning is "Open D" (DADGBD). NOTE: > = accent this note, h = hammer on, p = pull off, b = bend Please note that this song is a blues rock adaptation of a blue grass style. Therefore, a degree of artistic license is OK when playing. For instance, instead of hammering on from the 2nd to the 3rd fret (2h3) you can slide from the 2nd fret to the 3rd fret and pull of to the open string. You can also do this on the 6th string on the 3rd fret as well (3b). Refer to the below diagram for reference.
