Shiny, Happy, Delusional Us
In that our ears could only hear so many frequencies and then divided across the finite note, scale, mode, phrase, chorus and finally words in order.
This finite moment was inevitable and as always, self inflicted.
Observed repetition in any working system is eventually compressed to an algorithm or formula to be utilized as input into a higher system to continue advancement.
This occurs because the similarities in the system’s output, despite input, have stopped being unique, beyond the artist’s name. Thus being predictable enough for an algorithm with access to the data alone to perform previous repeatable successful permutations.
That’s why cereal is in a box and we have sliced bread!
That we could/would not see this in our ‘pop stars’ or each other and now sit in any offense is more a matter of ego and delusion than ‘fair’ or logical.
Admit the above as a matter of upward development and that it’s pain of our ‘ego’ and personal mythology are bruised and that those things have nothing to do with ‘good’ or relevant music.

What remains true.
- Permutation is the only way we’ve ever arrived at something truly new.
- There will always be a place for live music.. (not necessarily live musicians.. so think on that, how to partner)
- If you are offended that your exploits were patterned then look at the pattern of you. Suggestions below.
- If the goal is to make great music then AI music should allow you to experiment faster to get to a sound only ‘your why can unlock.
- We will burn out on generated music, the machine will need new variables to feed the masses.
- Can you pull back from your story and Ego.
- Can you let the AI music AND art generators rip into your soul and mind?

Feed Dream or Dal-E your old lyrics, poems and look at the AI Art.
When you have a nice piece, find a music generator and create a stem that expresses the art. This is one of many ways to integrate the technology from a ‘tool’ perspective..
Use an AI lyric generator, put that chorus into an AI art generator then head over to the AI music generator to finish the EP. Release the first AI album. Call it Wired AI.
Change tunings. Learn some music, scales and modes from other countries.
You will inevitably screw up the above, but in that you are expanding and creating even more permutation.
Engage, even if it’s just to fight it – human permutation must persist.
